Sensory-friendly hours are now monthly and will continue on the first Sunday of every month from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
We’ve crafted these low-sensory hours for children with sensory sensitivities and special needs to enjoy the Museum’s hands-on exhibit spaces and explore in a calmer, quieter environment.
We invite all children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Sensory Processing Disorders and vision or hearing impairments and their caregivers to interact with our experiences.
During your visit to the Museum, families can check out sensory backpacks with noise-canceling headphones, sensory-friendly toys and manipulatives.
*Backpacks are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited supplies. This experience is included in Museum Admission.
