- Story: “How Do Dinosaurs Eat Their Food?” by Jane Yolen and Mark Teague
- Activity: Herbivore/carnivore sorting, make dinosaur chompers
September 10-15: Paleontology Dig
- Story: “Bones, Bones, Dinosaur Bones” by Byron Barton
- Activity: Fossil excavation, dinosaur skeleton identification
September 17-22: Dino Eggs
- Story: “Dinosaurs Love Underpants” by Claire Freedman
- Activity: Create dinosaur eggs using paper mâché
September 24-29: What Happened to the Dinosaurs?
- Story: “Edwina the Dinosaur Who Didn’t Know She Was Extinct” by Mo Willems
- Activity: Math activity with dinosaurs
