Theme: Extraordinary Earth: This month, we’re celebrating our Extraordinary Earth with hands-on activities that explore the wonders of nature and the impact we have on our planet! Kids will become problem-solving engineers, create topographical maps, and get their hands dirty while digging deeper. Join us for a month of discovery, creativity and environmental action!
Special Programs
April 1 – 7: Build the Change: Join us for Build the Change, where children will use LEGO bricks to design creative solutions for real-world biodiversity and climate challenges! From building animal-friendly habitats to designing eco-friendly cities, this hands-on activity encourages problem solving and environmental awareness through play.

April 8 – 14: Digging Deeper: Get your hands dirty while digging deeper! Kids will explore the wonders of soil, discover what lies beneath our feet, and why dirt is essential for our planet. Then, we’ll create air-dry clay impressions using leaves, rocks, and more to capture nature’s texture in a fun way!

April 15 – 21: Rising Seas: Dive into Rising Seas, where children will explore the impact of rising sea levels using topographical mapping techniques. Through hands-on activities, they’ll track changes in sea level and discover how geography and climate shape our world.

April 22 – 29: Bug Hotel Builders: Help give bugs a cozy new home in Bug Hotel Builders! Kids will use recyclable materials to create sage habitats for helpful insects like bees, ladybugs, and butterflies. Along the way, they’ll learn why bugs are important for our environment and how small actions make a big impact!

Step into the world of “How Crayons Saved the Earth,” an adventure about a group of crayons coming together to care for our planet. After this adventure, repurpose old crayons into new shapes to add color to the planet!

Our All Things Earth event is a day focused on eco-friendly activities to learn about conservation, recycling and the importance of protecting our planet. Bring the whole family to create, and explore while discovering ways to make a positive impact on the environment!
April 19 : Hippity Hoppity Egg-Stravaganza
Member Hour: 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. | General Admission: 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Take part in a spring Egg-stravaganza! Hop around the museum and hunt for eggs throughout all of the exhibits! But don’t forget to find the Easter Bunny for a cute family photo!
April 25 | BellaBallerina Dance Party! | 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.
BellaBallerina is a literacy based dance studio that caters to ages 18 months – 10 years old. We use story integration and imagination to teach most of our dance classes so students can get used to creating imaginative worlds, learn dance in a nurturing environment and have fun!

Three Little Pigs: Come with us to see the adventures of Percy, Peter and Peggy Sue building their homes and take on the Big Bad Wolf.
Science Show | 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.
Join us at the Town Hall all month for an adventure in science. Predict, observe, and experiment with different topics. From color-mixing to chemical reactions, our Science Show is sure to instill curiosity in our little scientist.
Big Fun (15 minutes before closing)
Big Fun is the time of the day when children and adults move and groove to three of our favorite songs. Put your dancing shoes on and join us for this daily dance party!
I CAN Create (All day)
Join us in I CAN Create this month as we see how talented we can be. Little artists can stop by anytime to paint, color, build or draw a masterpiece.
