Join us as we build early math skills through creativity\, curiosity\, and discovery! \nSpecial Programs\nApril 1 – April 6\nMath Dots: Let’s count to 10! Blend early math skills with creativity and storytelling in this playful\, hands-on program. After reading 10 Black Dots by Donald Cruz\, guests will explore how numbers can turn into pictures by transforming black dots into their own art pieces.     \n\nStory time in I Can Create | 11:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. | 10 Black Dots by Donald Cruz \n\nApril 7 – April 13\nDon’t Be a Square:Who says it’s not hip to be square? Join us for a reading of Perfect Square by Michael Hall. Using the story as our guide\, we’ll explore all the things a perfectly imperfect square can become. Guests will transform their own squares into creative works of art. \n\nStory time in Build | 11:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. | Perfect Square by Michael Hall \n\nApril 14 – April 20\nI Spy Numbers: “I spy with my little eye” …. numbers everywhere!  This week we hunt for numbers and other objects in the book I Spy Numbers by Jean Marzollo. Guests will play their own game of I Spy as they sort through sensory bins to find crazy objects and numbers.     \n\nStory time in I Can Move | 11:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. | I Spy Numbers by Jean Marazollo \n\nApril 21 – April 30\nHidden in Plain Sight:  Math\, art\, literature\, and science all come to life this week as we explore number art. DESCRIPTION:Sensory-friendly hours are now monthly and will continue on the first Sunday of every month from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.\nWe’ve crafted these low-sensory hours for children with sensory sensitivities and special needs to enjoy the Museum’s hands-on exhibit spaces and explore in a calmer\, quieter environment. \nWe invite all children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)\, Sensory Processing Disorders and vision or hearing impairments and their caregivers to interact with our experiences. \nDuring your visit to the Museum\, families can check out sensory backpacks with noise-canceling headphones\, sensory-friendly toys and manipulatives. \n*Backpacks are available on a first-come\, first-served basis with limited supplies. This experience is included in Museum Admission.  \nGET MUSEUM ADMISSION
