From science shows to story time\, every visit is filled with hands-on fun for kids of all ages. \nAll museum events and activities are free with admission. \nJune Theme: Build It!\nThis month\, guests are invited to dream big\, build boldly\, and work together as we explore the world of engineering\, creativity\, and community building through Build It! Throughout the museum\, children will use their imaginations to design structures\, solve building challenges\, and collaborate on a growing community masterpiece. From cardboard construction to magnetic creations\, this month encourages hands-on exploration\, teamwork\, and creative problem-solving.  \nBoxopolis: A Creative Cardboard City | Every Day in Create\nEach day\, guests will help design and build a collaborative cardboard city that will continue growing all month long. Children can create buildings\, roads\, parks\, vehicles\, landmarks\, and other community features while learning about teamwork\, engineering\, and city design. In silly string archery\, kids will have the chance to practice their archery skills by spraying silly string at a colorful target. Come test your skills to see who can hit the bullseye while making a colorful mess!    \n Juneteenth | June 19\nCelebrate Juneteenth with a joyful Storytime and activity that honors freedom\, community\, and creativity in young learners!  \nBella Ballerina Big Fun Dance Party!  | June 19 & 26\nBella Ballerina is a literacy-based dance studio that caters to ages 18 months to 10 years old. They use story integration and imagination to teach most of our dance classes so students can get used to creating imaginative worlds\, learn dance in a nurturing environment\, and have fun!  \n Father’s Day | June 21\nJoin us as we celebrate Father’s Day with a special Storytime book and create art that only a father could love!  \nDaily Programs  \nPuppet Show | 9:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.\nTortoise & The Hare: Does slow and steady always win the race? Join us for this exciting puppet show to find out who wins the race and see some familiar fairytale characters.  \nScience Show | 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.\nJoin us at the Town Hall all month for an adventure in science. Predict\, observe\, and experiment with different topics.  From color-mixing to chemical reactions\, our Science Show is sure to instill curiosity in our little scientist.   \nBuild it! Story Time | 11:00 a.m. & 3:00 p.m.\nSticking with our theme of building\, we will be reading different books that explore themes that will inspire your builders. Grab your pencils\, rulers\, and markers and become an architect for the day! In this demo\, we will discover how electricity travels through wires to create a circuit of power that can bring light to all parts of a structure.   \nGiant Building\nCan you build something HUGE? Use giant Magna-Tiles to create towers\, castles\, tunnels\, and anything else you can imagine. Work together\, test your ideas\, and see how big you can build!  \nPlumbing 101\nEver wonder about the magic that brings water to taps and makes toilets flush with a simple push?
